OSSBarcamp is a one day event taking place in Dublin on Saturday 17th April 2010. It's a fun day dedicated to Open Source here in Ireland. Talks are short and interactive. There shall be a room for lightning talks so if you want to talk for ten minutes on something this is the place for you. Also the LPI Exams are being run again thanks to Howe Systems.
Who should come? Well everyone really, there are different levels
of talks at the event, and we would encourage lots of Q&A so
everyone gets as much information from it as they can.
Why you should come? To meet more people and interact, and put faces
to names. There aren’t that many Open Source events here in Ireland and
we should look to change that, by participating and promoting open
source events. You will get to hear great talks from people here in Ireland and learn about new and exciting projects.
